Presentation abstract: Over the last several years, Database tools has been putting together tools like SQLDeveloper, SQLcl and ORDS. Underpinning those tools is a series of libraries which provide services to the tools. As part of our open source series, we will provide these libraries as Open Source projects, for customers to clone and build. This includes the Oracle Database Devloper day VM which is built with packer.io. The artifacts from the builds will be available on maven.oracle.com so you can use them as part of your projects.

Speaker biography: I work in Oracle Database Development on Database tools. As part of that we built SQLDeveloper, SQLcl and ORDs. These tools are enabling Developers get on to Oracle and work in the Oracle Cloud. Underpinning these tools are libraries which over time have grown in usage and our next steps are releasing them as open source projects to share them.
